I recently had the pleasure of using U-Pack for my cross-country move, and I couldn't be more impressed. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and stress-free.

The customer service team is exceptional. They were incredibly helpful, providing clear and detailed information about the moving process. Their willingness to go above and beyond to answer questions and offer valuable tips was truly appreciated.

The pricing is transparent and competitive, with no hidden fees. I loved being able to track the trailer's location daily, which helped me coordinate local movers for unloading efficiently.

I used AFB transportation aka UPack moving truck for my recent move and I was very satisfied with their service. The moving truck set up was easy to schedule, prep for, and use. The drop off and pick ups at each of the locations were perfect, and the provided bulkhead and ramp worked wonders for getting our stuff where we needed and secured. The truck was spacious and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

One thing to keep in mind is that you need to know how to load a moving truck properly, as this will ensure that your items are safe and secure during the transit. You also get 3 days to load and 3 days to unload your items, which is very convenient. However, some cities don’t work weekends, so you might get extra time depending on your location. I wish they had informed me about this beforehand, as I rushed to pack everything by Friday for a Saturday pick up, but I actually had it till Monday. It would be nice if they updated their website or the itinerary with this information.

Overall, I would highly recommend AFB transportation aka UPack moving truck to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable moving service. They offer a great alternative to traditional moving companies, as you can save a lot of money and have more control over your move. They are definitely worth checking out if you are planning a move soon.

Using U-Pack to move from Canada to the USA was very easy and affordable. If I had any questions I contacted customer service and they answered all of my questions. The representatives are also very helpful with providing information about the 3299 (customs) form. My complaints are that the trailer had a leak somewhere and some of my boxes arrived soggy and my clothes and other contents inside were wet as well. Also the trailer was a bit dirtier (i.e. dirt/rust debris and wood debris)inside that I expected it to be. I would recommend U-Pack as well as use them again in the future.

Had to cancel my trip, so I had to get a hold of them on a Saturday. Of course they have no after hours number, the only person you can talk to is a agent that will book things. We did get a hold of the dock person at the terminal so we were hoping the shipment wouldn't go any further to cost us more, they were willing to hold it and have it turned around. Monday came and the lady in the office was rude and refused to make them pull it off a truck (again, the dock workers were willing) so she left the shipment go clear to the destination before she had the order to return and charging me more in top if it. To return it. So 1900 is what I paid than she charged me 700 more

Estimating how much space we would need was terrible, UPack estimated 17 feet and our belongings did not fit into a 28 foot trailer so we are having to make a second trip. When they delivered the trailer to the destination they did not include a ramp and since we were unloading on a Saturday there was no one to help us or get one to us. The movers had to take all of our belongings off without a ramp, which cost us extra time with the movers. When I called on Monday the rep casually said "Well, that's optional. I can give you a credit of $150". Delivery was on time on both ends, but the service overall was not what we expected.

We have used this company twice now. During the initial move out of state, the details were not explained as clearly about the process for getting the cubes picked up or shipped off. This resulted in some delay of when we really wanted them but the service itself went smoothly. The second time we used them (also out of state), details were more explained. Process went smoothly. We had to urgently get a second cube in Dayton, Ohio on a weekend and they were able to deliver! During the unloading delivery we had to end up having to wait to get them dropped off because our initial drop of address was in the Dallas area, while the actual final drop of address was in the Sherman area. Their process means that the cubes had to pass our address to go to the Sherman Distribution center THEN come back to our house. But each distribution center had excellent staff that could always answer my questions and help get the cubes where they needed to be. Staff was wonderful. Cubes are durable. Would definitely use this company again.

We used U-Pack for our move from California to Ohio. Everything from reserving the trailer to having the trailer picked up after it was unloaded was relatively stress-free. The process is simple…book online, trailer gets delivered, you load it, trailer gets picked up and then delivered to your destination. The quote on transit time and dollars were both accurate. All of the drivers and customer service representatives I spoke to within the timeframe from beginning to end were helpful and responsive. And this was thousands of dollars cheaper ($6k vs $9k) than renting and driving a moving truck ourselves. That’s a win in our book! The trailer that we got did not leak and the only damage to our stuff was how WE packed it. Items will shift and rub during transit so pack high and tight! Use moving blankets and plastic wrap for furniture and valuables. We used several Costco bins for our more valuable items and stacked them as high as we could and they held up great during the move. The only negative was the bulkheads and ramp they provide are somewhat heavy. My husband and I were able to manage but it would have been nice to have one move person to help. But again, that’s on us. High recommend!

I was wandering to find mover companies. I had several quotes but had difficulties to screening best one. After reviewing several sources I decided to order Upack cubes. I received phenomenal service. No problem. I would definitely recommend U-pack for your move.
