Everyone with J&G Security has been so friendly and helpful. From negotiating the licensing process and ensuring everything went smoothly to having a place to stay in the yard while awaiting our first assignment the staff has been amazing. At our first gate, the Maintenance guys showed us everything we needed to know to get started and succeed in our duties. Every time we’ve had a question or problem with equipment, they have been quick to get the issue resolved. Lisa and I have enjoyed our time working with J&G Security so far. They really do treat you like family.

We began working a 24 hour gate for JG Security in Shreveport, Louisiana in November, 2022 for a month. From there we came to San Antonio to wait for an upcoming gate in Southwest Texas, where we worked a 24 hour gate for approximately two and a half months until I dislocated my hip.

At that time we were in crisis mode. Justin arranged to get the gate covered and also get someone to our gate so they could help get me to the car. Andrea drove me to the ER in Jourdanton and from there I was transported to a hospital in San Antonio where I eventually got my hip reset. During that time Justin also made arrangements to have our gate covered.

Once released from the hospital, I wasn't able to drive the RV or do any physical activity until the doctor released me. JG Security had Derek and Sergio come out and pack us up and get everything ready to move. Derek then drove our coach back to the yard and put us where we would be close to he and Jes in case any needs came up. During the month there they checked in on us to make sure that all was well during my recuperation.

While I was recuperating Andrea found out that she was not going to be able to continue working. After being released by my doctor I checked with Justin to see if there were any 12- hour gates available. Justin said not at that time but graciously said that I was welcome to work relief gates until a full-time gate became available.

After several weeks a full-time gate became available. Andrea and I moved out of the yard and Jes gave us suggestions about where to check for an RV park close to the gate.

There was a hotel in the city I grew up in that had a tagline to their ads. It read, "We treat you like family, only better." With all the help, guidance, training, and tools for success that JG Security has provided us we KNOW that they treat us like family, only better. If it were possible to give a 10+ star rating I would do that!
