Don't believe the postings for $17 to $20 and hour. After waiting weeks for the interview, everything went well and I was offered a position that sounded exciting the same day. During the offer phone call I was told to attend orientation the following Monday but to expect 4 emails about onboarding and required training by Friday. I was told I'd receive a salary of $16 to $17 per hour but to expect a call from HR to confirm actual starting pay. I never received an email or a call so Friday afternoon I call but get nothing buy voicemails. I was never called back.
Finally on Monday I was called to schedule orientation for Wednesday and sent appropriate emails. I was given a set of training classes to complete online prior to orientation. Seriously I spent a total of 10 hours to finish all 7. They each had 30 to 40 minute videos to watch plus reading and testing. Still, not being told a pay rate. I call again on the day prior to orientation to confirm and was told it would be $14 per hour. I was transferred to operations manager who stated they've had changes to pay structure and they were not hiring at the high rate any longer and the maximum I could receive was $14.
I was angry to say the least. I spent a period over 2 days completing the training and prepare for orientation just to told at last minute what they promised me was not going to happen.
I still see their job posting for $17 to $20 per hour. As the headline states, Don't waste your time!

I contacted IGS to provide security at a private party being held at a public business. I am so impressed with the response time, the cost and the professionalism in this company. The security guard was awesome and took this role for safety very seriously. We will definitely use them and refer them to anyone needing this type of assistance.

Horrible service mis communication they show favoritism the owner so cheap to pay you overtime the pay sucks you can’t get a hold of hr he I think is racist they give overtime to certain people they don’t give a damn about you then they cut my hours down trying to use me I quit then they told me to pick up my check at 11 I waited 4 hours for my check the owner rude he didn’t even acknowledge me when I turn my uniform in didn’t even ask me what happened

The branch manager Stephen need a hundred courses in professionalism. Although the work isn't hard he does not know how to effectively convey instruction or criticism. He hired his mother as a security officer and she pettily picks with officers so when Stephen comes to pick her up she has a story to tell.

IGS replaced another company who was more responsive drove around looked at things, Every time I see an IGS guard they are sitting back in there truck on there phone. Last week a friend of mine and I were in a shop I left and she called she saying that all of the fuel got syphoned out of her van. Would this have happened if the guard hadn't been on there phone and patrolling like there supposed to do, Who knows

Horrible Service. Have this company at my apartment complex to "help".... Sike! The guards sleep in their PERSONAL vehicles to avoid being approached in company car. And cant actually help. I needed the apartment manager number phone number after hours and the guard told me he didn't have any numbers and called supervisor who also didn't have any on file?! HOW ARE U CONTRACTED OUT WITHOUT CONTACT NUMBERS. Just lazy and useless to apt complex
